  • Anti-Money Laundering Act

    With regard to the Anti-money Laundering Act (AML), I will require the following.

    Proof of identity for you both - this is usually in the form of a photograph of both sides of your driver’s licence. Proof of address - this is usually in the form of a utility bill with your full names and home address. The proof of address needs to be less than three months old. Once I receive the AML documentation, I will send it to an independent company for verification. Once verified, I can engage in real estate practice.

  • On the front page

    You will note on the front page that there are some dates to be completed. I will complete these once the Anti-money Laundering Act documentation has been verified and send you a dated copy of this agency agreement.

  • Completing the Agency Agreement

    To complete the agency agreement, there are a total of 19 initials required in the small boxes down the right-hand side of each page. There are also four full signatures required where indicated. I would appreciate it if you could complete the Lawyers details and tick the chattels on the Property Description page (page 6). Page 7 allows you to indicate any additional chattels that will be staying with the property or are not working.

  • Additional forms

    There are other forms including an internal document covering Health and Safety, and if you are planning to take your property to auction, a copy of the Real Estate Institute “Best Practice Guide” for auctions and the “Auction Conditions Approval” form. At Bayleys, we prepare the Auction Terms and Conditions and then send them to your Lawyer for approval. These forms will need to be completed and acknowledged with a signature.
