SUMMER ready with the Bayleys
Happy holidays!
December 2022
Like everybody, we are excited for the summer weather to arrive. It is predicted that we are in for a long hot summer, and we say… “Bring it on”.
Spring has been an exceptional listing period which is always the way in Taupo so, for any buyers in the marketplace, there are some lovely properties to select from. Typically, in Taupo, the market goes a little quiet between mid-December to mid-January and then fires up again after the holiday period. Having said that, there will be the usual enquiry from out-of-town purchasers looking for their dream holiday home or place to retire. Clare and I will be in Taupo over the Christmas period and available to respond to any queries. The Bayleys at Bayleys would like to wish you all a fantastic Christmas break and a safe New Year. We look forward to working in a more stable market in 2023 assisting our buyers and sellers to exciting conclusions.

Keeping up with the Bayleys
Top Team 2022
Grant and Clare Bayley challenged Taupo real estate teams and associated companies to a fun afternoon of challenges in support of local beneficiary Bellyful Taupo.
Bellyful is a local charity nourishing and connecting communities by cooking and delivering meals to whanau, with babies or young children, who need support.
We are proud to announce collectively we have raised over $10,000 for this amazing cause.
“I want to once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for choosing us. Your generosity will provide meals for approximately 400 families, over the next 12 months. This frees our volunteers up, to put time into our core roles, instead of worrying about fundraising.”
Welcome to the team
The new year will bring a fresh face to Clare and Grant’s team! We are excited to welcome Megan Bayliss as our Licensed Sales Assistant.
Megan has made a move to Taupo from Twizel, where she was a residential sales agent. Megan understands that no two clients are the same. With a positive, welcoming personality, she is able to quickly connect with a diverse range of people. Using clear communication and regular support, she makes sure every client is comfortable with the plan moving forward.
Welcome, Megan!
Pink Ribbon Day
Bayleys Taupo had a stall outside our office for the day on Friday 28 October to raise awareness for the very worthy cause Pink Ribbon Day for Breast Cance Foundation New Zealand. It was great to chat with the passers-by and we were blessed to hear so many inspiring stories.
We raised $500 at our location, Taupo collectively raised just over $6,200 and New Zealand as a whole raised $680,000!
“When I put my hand up to coordinate I had no idea what was involved and I was amazed with the generosity and the experience over the fundraising days. There was overflowing support from the community during this year’s appeal. ”
